This is my first time playing this game and I also have never used
pain tool before so this is really new experience for me. It was actually
quite challenging when aligning the dots especially because I'm still
using trackpad so the line tend to be imprecise. However, it was
still a fun activity for a pen tool tutorial. I do sometimes going back
again just to test myself.

4. List down 3 favorite graphic design work from
Pinterest.
Then, explain why I like the designs?
When I first saw this design, I instantly knew that I had to include
this into my favorite list. My initial thought was how nice and clean the
artist's presentation of using gradient color. And after I observe the
poster on the second look, the artist seems to use spring as their
theme. I am actually pretty confused about what is the connection
between the season of spring and the color chosen here as I can't
really find the artist's description of their work. However, this is how
I interpret this poster. The blue color may represent the cold
weather and red is the opposite of it, hot weather and when the transition
between this two weather collide they make spring. Well, this is how I
think about this piece. Either way I personally enjoy this type of
design and most of the time they always catch my eyes first.
First and foremost, I just want to mention that this design particularly
reminds me of one of the brand 'Converse' collection named Golf le
Fleur which their flower pattern is one of my personal favorite. Even
though, after further reading this piece may not have any relationship
with that brand but that was my initial thought. This design as the artist
mentioned is categorized as a psychedelic art. Yes, I didn't know what this was at first. But, I discovered that this
type of art is made when the artist in drugged or hallucinating. After
knowing the origin of this design, finally I can understand why they have
distorted checked and flower patterns. However, my intention to include this
at first just because of their color palette and the unique choice pattern
that the artist creates.
Honestly, I can't really elaborate on the context in this package design
because I don't understand Japanese but I really love the retro style in
here. They only use red and blue to fill the content here yet the designer
use both effectively. This packaging has a good balance between
functionality and aesthetic. Hence, why it got included in my top three
favorite design.
