WEEK 2
Lecture
First & foremost the lecturer explain how the module going to be held as it’s our first meeting for this semester. We were given a brief tutorial/game to familiarize how the pen tool works at a web name The Bezier Game. Then, we went straight to Ai Introduction and practices.

Practice: Pen Tool, Illustrator, Vormator Shapes
First Practice is to get to know the tools inside Ai. We were asked to create a lemon using Square Shape Tool which then curved. Adding to the lemon figure, we need to add ‘lemon’ text and exchange the ‘o’ with the figure we’ve made priorly.

Second Practice is the practice to prepare us for the first task. The lecturer asked us to recreate the vormator shapes provided using pen tool in Ai. Reminder to always keep the layers organize.

WEEK 3
Lecture: Character Design 101
Stylised Character: Iconic, Simplicity, Unique.
Principle of Character Design: Shapes > Colours > Emphasis > Contrast > Harmony > Expressions and emotions
- Shapes: add some weights by adding characters persona to their basic shapes.
- Establish the basic colours.


Practice: Illustrator 2
We study some fast key in lustrator
- Command D > Duplicate
- Select Object, Option > Copy
- Blend Mode: Upper layer with blend with the lower layer.

WEEK 4

Practice: Illustrator Shape Tool + Gradient 
Short Keys:
- Option + Shape tool = erase the shape choosen
- Command + B = Copy to back
- Command + F = Copy In fornt of

WEEK 5

Lecture: Compostion 
How to arrange the elements in your visual effectively. 
Basic Composition Visual Rules
1. Visual Narrative: Think of the feel of the scene. Every visual must tell a story. Get their emotions on the same page. 
2. Visual Flow: The path of a viewer's eye through the visual. 
3. Visual Balance: you can't know exact path of viewer's eye, but we can nudge thing around.
4. Visual Hierarchy: The way you visualised and  focus your subject matters can have huge effects on the composition the artist make
5. Establishing, Bird's Eye, Worm's eye view, Frame within Frame, Medium Shot.
