Why Bad?
Pic 1.1 'Bad Infographics' (https://id.pinterest.com/pin/335025659794802313/)
Earlier group project highlighting the importance for
infographics to be readable and make it ‘fun’ to read.
Composition looks cramped up and not look interesting (too
basic) despite having great illustrations. Also color palette
seems all over the place although they’re pretty readable.
PROCESS
1.) Choosing a template from canva. Choose this template
as they get great composition for a text and image composition
like you can read the content flowly from up to down.
2.) I try to change the colors and changing some details here and
there matching the content information provided from the ‘bad
infographic’ I picked.
3.) When applying hierarchy and highlights for the text I use
bold for important wording and coloured the numbers to indicate
the importance of them. This is how I constructed the hierarchy on
my ‘re-design Infographic.’
LIMITATIONS
I found some issue while working with canva to be specified the
‘free canva.’ As my ‘bad infographic’ get 10 topics that they
cover, I need to extend the canvas of the template but I’m not
able to do it because I’m not a paid subscription on their site.
Also, icons / photos are mostly got copyrighted by canva if you’re
not a member and so on my final design there are some visible
canva logos on some of the icons.
